TEAM BUILDING BEAUTY CAMP
Each year Casey College takes students away for a three-day residential camp. During this time students participate in a range of group activities aimed at developing initiative, team building and responsibility for others. This is exactly how you would act in a salon/spa environment when you are in the workplace, so we start this from the beginning of your training. It also allows new students to get to know each other.
In addition, students will attend presentations on study techniques, handling stress and dealing with difficult people. This is a time for all three facilities to come together and the student group will subsequently develop a strong sense of team work and will be more focussed in their course work.
The camp is held in first term of each year, by this time some students have got to know each other and some may not. This camp will take the student into a completely different environment where they are able to evaluate their progress as an individual and a team player, it will also motivate students for the rest of the year.
The camp is a compulsory event for all day and evening students as it is part of your overall course requirement.
The camp takes pride in providing students with great food, a fantastic environment, challenging activities and great comfortable accommodation.
