Financial and Government Assistance
Casey College of Beauty Therapy offer unique (PAYG) Pay As You Go Payment Plans, these are affordable for every student aswell as government assistance. In some cases, depending on eligibility, you may have upto 95% of your qualification paid for. The following are some areas of assistance the college offers. Please enquire within, regarding PAYG payment plans.
Skills Victoria Funding- Have upto 90% off your fees paid
Certificate III, IV or Diploma of Beauty Therapy
To Qualify for funding:
· The applicant must be an Australian citizens, permanent residents of Australia, Temporary Protection Visa Holders or East Timorese Asylum seekers or a holder of a Special Category Visa (for New Zealand citizens), you have met the first requirement.
· Applicant must be under 20 years of age as of the1st January in the year when you will be undertaking the course, there are no more requirements – you are eligible.
· If the applicant is 20 years or older on that date, and have previous qualifications that you already hold, when you are enrol in a course that is accredited at a higher level than the highest qualification you hold, then you are eligible.
·Applicant must not be trainees or apprentice.
· Must not be currently funded under any other state or commonwealth government funded training program.
IMPORTANT: To complete the Diploma you do not need to have done any previous certificates in beauty therapy

Centrelink Assistance
Payments while you are studying or training Payments while you are studying or training Youth Allowance- for full-time students or Australian Apprentices aged 16 to 24 and people aged under 21 who are undertaking job search or a combination of approved activities.
Austudy - for full-time students and Australian Apprentices aged 25 years or over.
ABSTUDY- offers a range of allowances to assist Indigenous students and Australian Apprentices.
Pensioner Education Supplement- helps certain income support recipients with education expenses.
Student Financial Supplement Scheme- no longer available.
Assistance for Isolated Children -for families with a child who cannot attend school locally because of distance or special needs.
Fares Allowance- for tertiary students who are living away from their permanent home to study.
Note: If you are receiving payment from Centrelink to support you while you are studying, you may continue to receive this payment during semester breaks and between courses.
